Our Visitors Love Us

Love, love, love this place. Beautiful property inside and out. Great care was taken to details even the back yard was gorgeous. We can't say enough about Patrick & Catherine. The were extraordinary hosts. One of them always greeted us when we came in and when we would leave. Offering directions, meal suggestions checking our ferry reservations for us (without us asking them to) just taking the time to see if we needed anything really. The breakfasts were always superb. They have a laminated menu were several choices for variety. Catherine's special of salmon and eggs was my wife's choice both mornings that we were there. The location of their house is very convenient, within easy walking distance of the strand but still far enough to be pleasantly quiet. We didn't have the need to drive at all. Absolutely recommend this B & B to everyone.

We enjoyed our trip to Galway and had a fantastic stay at the Cappa Veagh! Pat and Catherine are wonderful people and go the extra mile in making sure you have a great stay. They allowed us to check in early and were very helpful in assisting us on places to visit while we were in Galway. The room was very comfortable as we stayed in room 1. The room overlooked the garden. The neighborhood was very quiet and a quick walk to the main part of Salthill. We had the Irish breakfast the next morning and it was very filling and enjoyable. Upon check out the weather was not cooperating and it was raining, so Pat offered to drive us back to city center. This was amazing and saved us a lot of time to enjoy Galway some more! I would highly recommend staying at the Cappa Veagh Bed and Breakfast to anyone and I will definitely stay there again when I am in Galway.

Baylor Bear

The wife and I made a short stay here before heading south to the Aran Islands and Cliffs of Moher. Catherine and Pat were great hosts and the home was very comfortable. A short walk down to the bay and pubs and restaurants the location is not in the hustle and bustle but close enough to explore it if you want. Pat was super helpful giving us directions to the next stop and calling ahead to arrange for our excursion in the morning for us. Catherine's breakfast was one the best we had in all of Ireland.
